Adult Community Support Services

Provides comprehensive services to individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Services include assessment, referrals to other appropriate resources, assertive outreach, psycosocial and vocational rehabilitation, consumer/self-help, and housing. Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30-12:00 & 1:00-4:30 p.m.

Adult Short-term Assessment and Treatment Program

ASTAT (Adult Short-Term Assessment and Treatment Program) therapists provide short term therapy to individuals suffering from serious acute mental disorders that affects their level of functioning. A range of individual and group therapy modalities are aimed to optimising the strength and resources of adults in order that they may regain an improved level of functioning and well-being. Urgent response, screening, referral, assessment and treatment services are provided through a munltidisciplinary team.

Toll-Free stop smoking program run by the Canadian Cancer Society. We provide information, advice and on-going support around quitting smoking. Free reading material is also available.

Behavioural/Management Program

This program is funded by Ministry for Children and Families and provides support to children 7 - 17 years of age with severe behavioural problems. Services include assessment, support services to their caregivers (most often Special Care Foster Parents), and one-to-one counselling.
