ANKORS works on the behalf of those who are living with or affected by HIV or AIDS. Our services are available throughout the West Kootenay and Boundary region. ANKORS Staff are able to provide the following: Prevention and Education programs, Community Care Team development, Care, Treatment, Support and Advocacy services. The Needle Exchange has fixed sites in Nelson and Trail and we provide a mobile service Monday to Thursday. Please call for the schedule.

Brings health educators into local schools to discuss hazards of smoking, etc. Holds summer Asthma camps, financial assistance available for camp. Has a golf privilege membership which gives member discounts on various courses. Fund raises and helps fund medical research in areas such as lung disease and Asthma.
